Am I supposed to have previous experience in this industry?

No you are not.  However, you are expected to think for yourself, be a self-starter and an eager learner.  You will work independently and as a member of a team, depending on the project.  While we offer a training program and constant support, we believe that the best training is right in the field.  So be prepared to roll up your sleeves and enjoy the challenge.

What if I do not have a business background or degree, can I still apply?

Yes, of course!  Our job demands diversity of experience and points of view.  Different backgrounds and areas of expertise are the foundation of the multi-disciplinary approach we offer to our clients. 

What should I expect at the interview?

Our selection process consists of three (3) interviews.  During the first interview, you will enjoy a general conversation with your interviewer.  The second interview is focused on your specific background and expertise.  At the third interview you will be presented with some case studies: you will discuss them with the interviewer(s), draw your conclusions and make recommendations – exactly as if you were already working with us. 

Do you offer internship opportunities?

Yes, we do.  We offer two (2) programs, one in the summer and one in the winter.  The summer program is 12 weeks, the winter program is 16 weeks.

If I am enrolled in one internship program, can I also apply for the other?

No, you cannot.  You can either apply for the summer or the winter program, within the same calendar year.  However, if you successfully complete one program, you may be offered the opportunity to join the other.  The second program, within the same calendar year, is offered to a selected number of interns following the criterion of merit and attendance.

How do I apply for your internship program?

Please send your resume and one (1) academic reference to internships@chgus.com.  Please note that your resume will be kept on file for 6 months only.

How do I apply for opportunities within your Research Institute?

Only former and present successful employees are considered for a position within our Research Institute.  We consider working for our research department an intra-company transfer.

Will I have to travel?

Yes, you will, locally, domestically and internationally.  The frequency and length depends on your position and projects.  If you are not willing or cannot travel, you should probably only consider applying for our administrative departments, such as accounting and general administration.
